This movie was beyond brilliant, it's horrible that people nowadays can't realize good visual storytelling when they see it. I don't think there was anything confusing, it's based off a classic Italian fairytales, this is to me a modern day version il Decameron. Reviewers will give a tasteless piece of garbage like Batman vs Superman a 6 rating. This should have a 10.

I can't see the point in comparing the 2. 2 entirely different genres.
I love a dark twist on a fairytale or dark fairytales period! I honestly wasn't impressed with this. Personally I liked the music in Into The Woods, but a superb dark tale that was stunning and beautifully done,imo, was Pan's Labyrinth. Tale of Tales was visually beautiful, but for me the 3 intertwining stories didn't have enough meat to them.

They were both pretty rubbish. This was a rambling, disconnected, incoherent mess that leaves more questions than answers. In all fairness, it was better than Into The Woods though. That was just atrocious!!

Because these ratings are decided by viewers, and a good portion of viewers don't know good sh** when they see it.
This rating is actually relatively high for a horror movie. Probably because it has the fairy tale element.
