Let's Settle the Lindsay debate

She is the worst part of the show.

There it's settled.

And stfu if you say she's good looking (she's not) but who cares if she is? She is straight up a horrible person.
The 2 main characters are "the worst" because of their ideals towards relationships, however they have jobs, respect at least themselves, and contribute to society.

Anyway the show is great! Gretchen and Jimmy are so fun to watch. Edgar steals the show!
I worry that like many great programs before their time this show may get cancelled, but I like to see all the support on the message boards for YTW keep it up!

Who made you the authority on attractiveness. Lindsay is super hot, maybe one of the most beautiful women on television, in my opinion.

She's definitely more naturally beautiful than Gretchen and her voice may be annoying but it adds to her character

I found her amusing in the first season but I will agree.. she is the worst part of season 2. Less Lindsay, more Sam as a supporting character.

By far the worst part of the show. Fat, butt ugly, the most annoying voice on TV, dirt stupid, hateful, mean spirited and malicious to everyone around her. Unless you are also a fat disgusting cow like her or so pathetic you can only date nasty beasts that look like that I see no way a sane person would defend or like that character.

The rest of the show is good though. I'm hoping they either totally revamp her loathsome character or kill that hog off.

Lindsay may be awful but Kether may not be. Think about who you're really degrading when you say "fat disgusting cow." To insult her character is one thing but to insult the weight and appearance of the actress is disgusting. There are human beings behind these characters.

Kether is beautiful in my opinion.

I like her character, reminds me of a lot of trust funders I went to college with. Nails it. Plus, yes I think she is attractive. So she isn't super fit, she is still pretty and sexy, it isn't like she is Walmart fat. Just a bit over.

I'm not sure if Lindsay is in the running for the title of "the worst". Seems like she's someone who's never had to work for anything, been challenged, faced hardship, or been give a lot of responsibility, but also hasn't taken it upon herself to expand her mind or better herself. I suspect her parents have been well-off her whole life, they never expected much from her or encouraged/forced her to be more independent, she was a ditz in her teens, never got a job, somehow got involved with Paul (I'd love to see that flashback episode), and since he is very responsible and has money she never changed.

There was an episode when she DID change, she started reading a lot more and caring about important issues and then Gretchen didn't like the new Lindsey and turned her back into the dependent Lindsey we all know and love. But if the Sunday Funday episode is any indication of whats to come, it looks like Lindsey has had a breakthrough, shes got her power back on at least, and she may be on her way to independence.

Yea, it's funny reading all these criticisms, because they all seem directed at her character, which I think is great. She's supposed to be annoying and she's done a fantastic job of it. I actually clicked on this thread just to acknowledge how great she is in this show, and to say that I have a lot of respect for her willingness to play Lindsay, and to do such a great job at it! I'm not familiar with her as an actress, but I'll look for her in other things, now.

Her beauty is irrelevant to the show, except for how it pertains to her character, so criticisms based on how she looks are the most ridiculous of all. If she were playing a beauty queen, then we probably wouldn't be hearing these criticisms, but she's not. She plays a shallow, happy-go-luck character who's borderline narcissistic. But it's a fun character and she plays it superbly!

I actually like all the characters on this show a lot, but she may be the best. Ironically, I'd guess that many of those criticizing her are probably very similar to her character IRL.

Linday is awesome. She's my favorite part of the show. And she's super sexy to boot. So no, you haven't settled jack *beep* OP.
