Did Monroe love Minnie? Or was he just using her?

Really enjoyed the film. Just wondering, was Monroe just using Minnie or did he actually start to love her?

You have to think of where she lived and the time frame. San Francisco was hedonism central and people said don’t hold back if it feels good do it. As in Minnie was in constant contract with Monroe. It was very natural she would develop feelings for him. It first started when they were on the couch and possibly innocently he touched her breast. To her it was something else. Although she didn’t realize the full impact she pushed the right buttons. This would be in the bar where she sucked on his finger.

Back when I was in high school I did know a couple of girls that had a really strong sex drive and would pursue boys they wanted to have sex with.

Both.

Sexuality is too complex to be decomposed to any one simple term.

Ummm she goes to a pediatrician ...........

I'm a girl and what Minnie & Monroe did was apart of life . That was the 70's (I wish I lived in that era).....They both was in the moment neither had malicious intentions they both had grown curious about the other and acted upon that curiosity..I'm proud of Minnie though when she leaves Monroe talking in the bathroom ...She couldn't breath everything he was saying went beyond casual sex , experimenting and having fun . Her mother was nuts suggesting that Monroe marry Minnie.. ..

Monroe loving Minnie ,,, any girl who's ever had an on going relationship/affair with an much older guy .They all fall in love but It's not real love exactly and it's not the girl exactly...It's everything you represent he is in love with your youth,,, you could be any young girl. Everything you do everything you say is at the up most importance to him , your the funniest , most intelligent person in the world your "everything" and "nothing" all at the same time....

It's just infatuation: Minnie had to beg that dude to have a conversation with her

Who are the Teddy Bears? Should I know about them ?
