Agree.

Not horrible but you get the impression AI or a lazy screenwriter looked at the first three movies, cobbled together something and this movie appeared.

I was impressed the Eddie Murphy seemed to have lost that gut he had in Coming 2 America.

I don’t know if it’s woke, but I will say it’s probably bland and tiring, the first bit of actual dialogue is “oh you assume I don’t like thing because of the color of my skin”. Holy fuck, what happened to original comedy. I can’t speak for the rest of the movie because if that’s what they open with then I imagine it only goes downhill from there in terms of quality writing so I stopped there, but movies are like viral videos, And memes, “tell me without telling me” where it just gets annoyingly overused. To be fair, I skip a lot of modern movies because it just seems like they lack so much originality and creativity, from concepts and plots, to dialogue, to characters, jokes etc.
