So how fucking bad is this going to be?

Being released in February, first time director, only 83 minutes, and trying to tie it into Valentines Day despite the movie having nothing to do with it. How much of a train wreck is this going to be?

It doesn't bode well given the review embargo is still in effect.

Positives:
-Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan
-Marshawn Lynch appeal
-Valentines Day timing

I think the majority of Valentine's Day movie business will go to Heart Eyes (horror is very popular & profitable these days).

Still, I'm not rooting for it to fail. Wana support Ke.

I thought the trailer looked fun, but I have a feeling Universal is dumping this one. It's a big red flag to me how much of the marketing is trying to focus on Valentines Day. I feel like this is a film where they got a decent cast and hoped it would all just come together while filming it and it just didn't. The really short runtime doesn't bode well with me either, but who knows. Maybe it will end up being alright. Sucks though because I'm really rooting for Huy Quan.

The run time doesn't bother me. It could just be a simple story. Doesn't make it bad. A lot of two and a half hour epics could be a little shorter.
