Is this film Misogynistic ???

I haven't seen this movie, but I plan to see it with a girl. It surely attracts me as something different. However, there are a lot of posts being shared, mostly critics saying that this movie is very misogynistic, and something that will piss off a lot of ladies. So I ask the collective wisdom of IMDb, is it true ? Because I have some problem trusting critics, I would rather go with common viewers.

every show is these days. And racist...and homophobic and blah blah blah. People pick apart nothing to try to make it something to prove their point.

It isn't misogynistic, it just doesn't include a heroically perfect female character, which I suppose these days could be considered misogynistic.

Its just a fun movie.

In my experience guys tend to like it more than girls, which could be sexist considering how infected you are by PC culture.

Not once was the word "only" mentioned in that comment!

Yeah, I agree the easiest way to figure out if she'd like the film would be to ask "Does she like video games?" and "Does she get sick/headaches from shaky cams?"

That's probably just a rule of thumb for any human who wants to see this movie in theaters. My sister would not be able to watch this movie, she couldn't make it through Cloverfield.

Only human garbage would need to ask this question. One day we'll wise up and deport the lot of you.
