Seems like a short film stretched out to 90 mins (spoiler)
I love horror movies, and I saw this movie had a high review score . So this one seemed like an easy choice to watch. I was enthralled at the start. The idea of focusing on the Jason Voorhees-like killer, with the camera often positioned behind him, is original. Some of the movie’s kills are well done .
The problem is that the movie, simply, gets repetitive. It is interesting at first, seeing the killer’s POV as he goes his horrific rampage; but by the 40-minute mark, I was over it. Scenes where we have to watch the killer walk through the woods become a drag.
The overall feel is that this movie was designed to be a short snuff film that ends in about 30-40 minutes. Instead, we have to endure 90 minutes filled with repetitive bloat and fluff: it just becomes a drag to watch
