Powerful female warriors and weak clumsy domestic men

Valid complaints, but what an Amazing movie.

They need it to get to the point when the image we see in our minds of an action hero is a woman, and the image of a weak and domestic support person is a man. Right now, too many people still have the traditional images ingrained in their consciousness. I expect in a few more generations, the gender roles will be completely reversed. In the future, boys who feel like they want to be tough and have adventures will be seen as displaying female qualities and encouraged to have sex changes.

When I played D&D I always played male characters but I don’t ever remember there being modifiers for playing female characters.

I noticed that too and I usually don't pay much attention to that kind of stuff. But they were pretty overt with it.

- Main lead male: White. Weak. Bad father. Thief. Scoundrel. Spends film atoning for his horrible crimes and getting his wife of color killed.
- Other lead white male: piece of shit liar, backstabbing. Honorless. Greedy.
- Male gay/minority/midget roles: strong. patient. valiant.
- Women: all god-like, virtuous, and infallible.
- The villain *was* a woman, but she was basically a god that could only be killed by a male of color.

Nevertheless, I thought Hugh Grant was very funny. Not a great movie overall (5/10). Special FX weren't even TV-level and very distracting. Better than average start-of-the-year film.

I will say this though - usually, woke films suffer from really crappy writing - it all feels forced. In this instance, I've noticed significant improvements on that end. The dialogue features a lot of wit - the humor is decent. All in all, I'm impressed by the woke writing staff's effort here - they are getting better. Aside from that - a lot of quality actors here - the acting ended up being .... ok-ish, since it did feel off somehow - perhaps it's the whole gender swapping thing - lol

Anyways, if the woke writing staff keeps improving like this, I might start watching more of their BS agenda films.

It is getting a bit played out. Seems to be the norm now. The male protagonists are the comedy relief and utter goof balls whilst the female protagonists are bad ass heroes.
