What do people think about Paul Walker?

I kinda like him because I saw him in a movie once, only I didn't know it was him. In Swedish, the movie was called "The Ghost-dude in the Closet", and a very, very young Paul Walker plays a kid lead in that movie. He must've been 10 or something. In English it's called Monster in the Closet. A very funny movie and I recommend it. It's infamous around my family as a world class "turkey" movie. I never saw any of Paul Walkers automocar movies. I'm sure he wins the races. I'm sure the girls go with him for a ride in his Cadillac. I'm sure Paul Walker could drive stick even, in spite of being American. But I will always remember him as an inventive little genius kid who fought the ghost-dude. God Bless.

I think it's sad, not just because he went at a young age and how it happened, but from everything I've read, it seems like he was a genuinely nice, generous guy. I thought that montage at the end of Furious 7 was particularly sad.

Oh no! Sadtage! I haven't seen Furious 7. Or any of the Furious movies.

I don't think he was that great of an actor in this series. If it had been Diesel instead of Paul this series would have been sunk since Vin appears to be the face of the F&F franchise.

Paul wasn't a great actor, but he was significantly better than Vin Diesel. He's had some good performances, watch: Hours, Pawn Shop Chronicles and Running Scared. I don't think the franchise would have sunk if it was Paul whom was leading it now, people seem to like them both, almost equally, but it probably wouldn't be as successful as it is now, with Vin still attached to it. Vin is the face of the franchise mainly due to the fact that he took full control of it, when he came back for the fourth one.

Neither of them are good actors. They both however thought they were and were going to have long and prosperous careers, which is why they both left the franchise early on (Vin after 1, Paul after 2). When reality kicked back in, and their careers stalled, they both begrudgely came back for part 4 (though Vin did the cameo in 3). When Four showed signs of reviving the series, and nothing else really going in their careers, they agreed to Five. When that was a huge hit they finally embraced that this franchise was the best thing they had going, and it could actually be huge for them.

I don't think they could have continued without Vin. He's always been the most central to the whole story.

Storywise, losing Dom would probably have been the best thing for the series moving forward. He's always been the father figure, the big brother figure. The family having to pick up the pieces and go on without him would have been quite compelling.

I'm apparently gonna be sad forever that Paul is gone and it definitely makes these movies kind of a bummer to rewatch now.

Curious as to why you have never seen any of the Fast and Furious movies? Part 1 is my favorite.

To answer your Question: My thoughts on Paul Walker are I enjoyed him in everything he has done(that i've seen)..I would not say i was the biggest Paul Walker fan but I think after His death, it made me like him even more. Because they told about his life and what kind of person he was off camera. Like someone else said, He actually seemed like one of the goods ones. Tragic what happened to him.

Also I feel they should have ended the Franchise on Furious 7. The ending was perfect...And Paul was just as big a star of the franchise as Vin. Two actors who as others said arent the best actors..but together they were gold on screen.

I don't think he had much in terms of acting talent, but I enjoyed watching him in stuff. He had a certain charm about him and I don't think he had any delusions about his own talent, either. But he made some fun films and it sucks that he's gone. I actually really enjoyed Running Scared more than most of his mainstream stuff.
