These types of horror films just exist to hire bimbos to show their nudes before getting killed...

Say it isn't so.

I also think these horror shows condition the public to act how these characters act, dumb. Whenever the characters finally get an advantage over the killer, they just drop what they're doing and run off in hopes of escaping rather than finishing off the perp.

There wasn't any nude females in this. There was some partial nudity showing only general skin, without breasts or female buttocks shown, but that was it.

I guess you are wrong.

reply

First movie had it. I'm just watching the 2nd one right now. My point still stands on these types of horror as they usually do involve those.

reply

IT ISN'T SO.

There are exceptions, but female nudity is a long established element of the slasher genre. Someone on here used to refer to the Friday the 13th movies as 'tits and stabbings' and they were right.

reply

In Friday the 13th Part 5 a somebody takes their top off in front of the mirror and says "it's show time!"

Part and parcel

reply

Well, I reckon they are thinking we are already getting an R rating, might just as well put some nudity in it.

These films are as commercial as it gets.

reply

Your reaching, it's a plot device. I highly doubt anybody would act like a horror movie character in real life.

No. Probably not. Of course, it'd be difficult to test your hypothesis because almost no-one in the audience for Terrifier 3 is ever going to find themselves in an equivalent situation to the characters in the film, running away from a murderous clown.

People act stupidly in horror films for two main reasons:

1) Because the movie couldn't happen if they didn't. 'This house is haunted. The last two families that lived there all died in horrible and mysterious circumstances.' 'Oh, we won't move in then.' Cut to credits.

And 2) so that the audience gets pleasure from feeling smarter than the characters. 'Well, don't go into the cellar, you moron.'

I meant for these types of horror subgenre films. Of course, I am not speaking about Art himself specifically but to the general would be murderer within a specific age group (teens to young adults).

Stuff like this.

1st movie: we see one nude and it's just as Art Saws her in half with a hacksaw crotch first. Not sexy

2nd movie: no nudity I remember.

3rd movie: you see skin but the nudity is a dude as he gets chainsawed in half.

This is more about showcasing practical effects with a villian who expresses their elation with miming. The Actresses are beautiful, but hardly nude bimbos showing us tit's. I must admit the costume designer has skill.

2nd movie had a sideboob from what I read but currently still watching the movie.

I was speaking in general terms of these low budget horror films that you see a lot of that usually involve such tactics as using nude and generally dumb bimbos where usually only one is the sort of smart one that makes it out alive to be in the next movie. Sort of like Scream.

Ice Scream
A Scream in the Streets
Friday the 13th
Scream For Summer
X

etc.

reply

And that's a problem?

Comedies pull the same tactics. Just change kill to get laid.

reply

Uh yeah, that's the way it's always been lol.
