Cinderella reboot sucked and so will this one

Really hate from the get go any unoriginal ideas like this. Why redo the movie live action when the cartoon was already perfection? Nostalgia factor?

I really don't get it. No offence to any Emma W fans but this is a vehicle to try to get her career back to super stardom. But to be quite honest, she can't act. I'm sorry. Hermione and her character were somewhat the same person. And she even screwed that up. Not sure how anyone can be her fan.

I don't like EW. Gonna be honest. She did not earn much in her life. Born into privilege. Had her life handed to her on a silver platter. (She was HANDED the role of Hermione) She even complained about it! Spoiled brat.

Anyways.....Disney is pretty desperate to be redoing these movies. I thought they were desperate when they did Cinderella 2&3. But Disney has sunk to a new low......

I agree. And Disney's been acting like they have the monopoly on these centuries old fairy tales. Just let them be, most of the animated movies by Disney already are the ultimate adaptations.

And by them saying they're the ultimate adaptations, Universal is screwed in fairy tales now after the disappointment of their Snow White follow up "The Huntsman" and Chloe Moretz putting her Little Mermaid on hold!

Honestly im not a fan of Emma Watson either but I hope she brings the charcther of Belle to justice as Belle is one if not my favourite princess of all time. The original Beauty & The Beast was brilliant so hopefully this new one will be good.

I loved Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella.

Sadly I agree. I don't feel like many people admitted that Cinderella wasn't great when it came out, and most people are too Hermione blinded to admit today that Emma isn't a strong actress - nothing against her personally, just don't like her acting. So more and more crappy films are going to be made in this vein and then applauded, while everyone is secretly thinking "is this even good?"

I thought the Cinderella remake was really good and I think this one will be too. I disagree about Emma Watson. I think she can act and will do a great job. I don't think she is a brat.
