That's the problem with the IMDb rating system. It involves tyranny of the masses because it lets them vote for their biases. The lists are never objective and neither are the ratings, so don't take them seriously.

I made a post on this on the Deadpool forums because it was sitting at #49 on the top 250 at one point, above Lawrence of Arabia, Raging Bull, Amores Perros, and many more deserving movies than Deadpool. I didn't even say that is was a bad movie (I thought it was okay), I just said people should consider other films as well rather than upvote the popular movie of the week.

That being said, I still very much enjoyed this movie. I'd pretty much recommend it to anyone who won't shut up about their opinions (even though those are probably the same people who probably won't watch this movie).
