Is it not racist that they call the black characters 'Blackie'?
Based on this, why not call the gringos 'whitey'? Whenever one of Pablo's black henchmen appear they get called 'Blackie', and I found myself cringing :(.

shareI'd reply to your latest troll but I'm still awaiting your reply to my response to your thread in the "The Night Of" board, which I've copied below.
Re: Black males portrayed as ignorant racist who like fat asses and weed
I have to say that this primitive portrayal of black men we have seen thus far is somewhat disappointing.
Re: Black males portrayed as ignorant racist who like fat asses and weed
Three pages spent on this BS,there was one person called Blackie in this entire 2 season show. It's the same person not a variety of people, stop with the BS already... Ya callate pendejo,do not entertain this troll anymore on this subject
shareMy friend is borrowing my camera just now, but when I get it back I shall provide documented proof of the multiple 'Blackies'.
shareI spoke to cousin Francis today who recently watched the show. He confirmed that there were at least 5 different characters referred to as 'Blackie'.
shareIgnore this troll
shareare you guys actually falling for this bs?
He is baiting you, he knows exactly that there is one character and his nickname is blackie.
How can you still argue with such an obvious failure?
...but they hung him anyway.
Hanged, Ami. Your father was not a tapestry.
I just assumed he's with BLM.
shareI think its a language side of things. In Spanish negro means black and if you referrer to somewhere of someone with a black skin, that's how its said. In addition you didnt notice that many black people in Colombia, in the series anyway.
In Russian its normal to call a black person negro but its bad to say that some one is black.
Pablo Escobar is a drug dealer. Of course he's not going to be politically correct. He also makes a lot of gay slurs.
I don't think he was racist though (not that it matters he was a murderer), the only color he cared about was green.

Based on this, why not call the gringos 'whitey'?

@Phillip_90
Americans are the ones who have a stick up their ass and find anything and everything "racist".
Um, no dear. Racism has always been worldwide and international---it's never been just an American thing. You're just mad simply because racism is being pointed out to begin with, which means you're actually the one with the stick up your ***. Well, that's just too damn bad---racism is very real for a lot of us Latin America has had a long history of racism against its black citizens from day one--since they were brought there as slaves, too. And, yes, it's racist to call the man "Blackie", especially since no one else is referred to by their skin color in the show. Plus I've never heard Pena be called or referred to a "gringo" one single time in the show,BTW. So quit your stupid whining about people pointing out racism, like we're supposed to. And people are going to keep pointing them out, whether you like it or not.
