Pablo Escobar could have been a good person

He was a psychopath that deserved his fate, but when you see the affection towards his family and friends, you can only think that this man had some good in him. He seemed happy on the farm with his Father, and maybe if he had grown up with him, he would have lived a simple but very happy life. The bad just outweighed the good in him.

I believe most people have good in them, if not all, but some carry far more demons in them than others.

What do you guys think? Could he have been good?

It is hard to say. If one believes the movie, he was a loving father and husband. He believed he was at war, and that his cause was just. He obviously admired a lot of revolutionaries like Che Guevara and Nelson Mandela, and hoped to be a hero. The fact that he dealt in cocaine should not automatically make him a bad guy. Cocaine is how most of the poor peasants in the mountains survive. So we can't say that all these people are evil. Drugs are the main stay of many poor communities. Consider Afghanistan. These live in severe climates where little else will grow and they are dirt poor. So they grow drugs and rich people in America and Europe pay good for it. Escobar was part of that process.

Life is for lovers, and lovers are for life.
