Rupert Friend is not the problem.

I liked Rupert Friend in Homeland as i'm sure we all did, and I don't think he would be a horrible 47 under the correct directorial supervision. That being said this first time director has made his first B class $4.99 blu-ray in the Walmart bin, I can't believe I paid for this movie, #FML installment of his career.

These hit man movies are a slap in the face to franchise fans just like absolution was. I don't know if you can make a good hitman movie, because it is basically going to be a movie on how to kill people without anyone ever knowing you were there.

I leave you with this. In the trailer it shows 47 kick a table where his rifle bounces and shoots a bullet (because it bounces) which this bullet then hits his handcuffs and frees him. list of problems the director was to lazy to address.

1. You don't bring a loaded gun into an interrogation room. Especially not the person of interest's weapon.

2. You could beat that gun up with a hammer and it still won't fire without the trigger being pulled.

3.Let us say the gun actually does fire its 7.62 round into the metal cuffs slacked by the table and your wrist.

Things that make me to hmmmmmm.

He looks like Orlando Bloom and that's a good thing.

Thank you for pointing out how stupid that interrogation scene in the trailer was. The first Hitman movie wasn't good but I still enjoyed it because I love the Hitman franchise. So when I saw the trailer for the reboot and they opened it with the interrogation scene where Agent 47 bounces the table to shoot the gun at his handcuffs, I already knew this movie was going to suck. Even in that movie Shooter with Mark Walberg where they put his rifle in the same room, it was unloaded and then someone slipped him a round to place in the chamber. Everything about that interrogation scene in Hitman looks stupid.

Rupert Friend lol what a ridiculously posh name. Man must have been born with a silver spoon with caviar down his throat. No wonder they aren't putting it on posters.

Who cares if people liked him in Homeland? Being good in one role does not make you fit for another. He just doesn't work as Agent 47. Obviously it doesn't help that the movie is a steaming pile of garbage.
