I can't stand this kid/character/actor as well. Had they stuck closer to the books this character was older, 15-16 I think and his take over by the dark side was much more believable. In addition, the character of the mother was much different. She did not look mom like at all in the book. She was somewhat deteriorated as the Strygor are want to do,he is visibly torn between the monster he sees and the woman he knows is his mother. There was a lot of conflict and anguish in this character, this kid just comes off like a brat!
