THAT was the twist??? (spoilers)

About 30 minutes into the movie, I was starting to suspect the husband... he never seemed sad about his wife's death, he was always like, whatever. Then I thought it might be the husband and girlfriend together, but when the twist was revealed, it was no surprise.

I thought it was bland. The premise was good but the third act was a big letdown. Disjointed hot mess. 4 is my rating!

Agreed, it had potential but it didn't stick the landing and it was way too reliant on jump scares. You also have to have at least one character to root for to survive in horror films like this in my opinion otherwise that sense of dread the film was going for doesn't work as you don't care about the characters that are in danger. I found Longlegs and Alien: Romulus to be much better as we had a main character to root for to survive the nightmare they found themselves in.

I feel they should have done better than the orderly as the culprit. The way he appeared with the mask and murdered the sister with the hammer, I thought the killer was something scarier than just a low orderly hired to kill

I guessed it at 5 minutes into the movie when she called her husband, and he sarcastically said "I can be the villain"
