Looks like people are getting TIRED of Tyler Perry LOL! Perry's last movie We the Peeles also bombed. However, this is the FIRST Madea film that did NOT open with at least $20 million dollars. Is this movie a bomb or a disappointment?
shareThis movie made nearly double its budget back at the box office. Critically it was panned, but commercially it's anything but a flop (even if it didn't do *as* well as some of the others.)

It had a budget of $25 million and went on to earn $53.4 million so I'd venture to say it's not a flop at all, despite the mixed critical reviews. Who pays attention to the critics anyway? :)
