Bringing back the greatest TV show ever is never going to be easy

And while I don't think Peele's version is going to make anyone forget about the original I do think he brings something that past "TZ" reboots lacked: a vision. Even when the original "TZ" delivered less-than-inspired episodes the whole always remained greater than the sum of its parts because of creator Rod Serling's vision. Cohesion is what "TZ" reboots need ... and what I feel Peele will bring.

Talk about cultural appropriation...

What culture is being appropriated and by whom?

They did a good job reviving the show in the past. Check out the premiere of the 1985 Twilight Zone series with the one-two punch of "Shatterday" / "A Little Peace and Quiet". It sold audiences on the idea you could still do The Twilight Zone without Rod Serling's involvement.

The remake of "After Hours" was wretchedly bad.

I didn't think much of the '80's version. Hopefully, the new one will be better.

They turned "After Hours" into a slasher movie. Big mistake.
