Is the character of Lupin famous in America?

I've read some when i was a child. But at that point i wasn't in the USA :D

I doubt ir's famous, or even known, but Netflix is a global network, not every show is made for the USA ...

I'm aware of the character solely because I was into anime in my teens and I remember seeing Lupin titles on the shelf when I'd go anime shopping at Suncoast. If not for that, I'd have never heard of him.

No, he's not famous in America.

I've only come across him from the anime, never heard any reference to him otherwise.
