Its all in bens mind.

Bizarre.

You'd think for a Han cameo they'd have gone with a flashback (like with Luke Leia) ..maybe Ben thinking back to when he was a boy when Han gave him some fatherly advice. not so long after Return of the Jedi (Ford CG deaged to Last Crusade or Fugitive era).

I have a lot of misgivings about TROS. But Han's appearance was probably the est part of the movie. It gave redemption to Kylo Ren.

It's funny cuz it's the best scene in the whole trilogy. The problem is the entire franchise has never utilized that story telling device before. So it's incredibly jarring.
