Usually people applaud when a movie is really good. And something historic like the final chapter of a 40+year story should command some type of reaction. My theater was very quiet. Some people began using their phones. I had the impression most people didn't like it.

certainly nothing like what i saw when i caught endgame opening day.
the one thing i will say, though, is that that the comedic moments in this film actually got some laughs, unlike last jedi, where all the jokes seemed to be greeted with stoney silence.
Dead silence in the theater.
