i promised i would boycott it but i just had to see how awful it was first hand. saw it on imax and there were maybe 10 people in the theater.

i want to ask a serious question from you people. WTF did I just watch???!!

Watching a bad quality torrent is not the same as experiencing a movie on the big screen.

Oh boy do I have about 1000000 answers to your question. But its too much to retype all over again. I would suggest strolling through the SW TLJ forums on here and take a look at a few posts. Basically all the information you need is on here.
Good luck. I hope you can find some way of coping with this. I know I have liked being able to post on here and share my thoughts. I used to be one of the biggest SW Fans. But now my hype is killed and I just don't care anymore. I hope they don't fuck up me second favorite movie franchise, Jurassic Park. Only time will tell. Nothing is sacred anymore.

Realistically, you watched a movie that is less of a "cohesive narrative" and more like "a bunch of stuff that happened."

I really don't think Rian Johnson knew what he wanted to do with the story. That's why it resulted in a collection of subtractive and destructive plot occurrences without any true concepts behind them, and no confident direction for the overall story.

Then he compensates for that with a few interesting but admittedly gimmicky "big scenes," and a whole boatload of tone-deaf, out-of-place humor.

It's like half-assing a book report in school, but you never read the book in the first place. You have to turn SOMETHING in to the teacher, you know?

You just watched another soon to be disappointed SW movies which you've supported with your money which they took as a sign to give you more WTF did I watch moments cause you're a pansy that couldn't just download the show instead but paid premium IMAX pricing. Thanks for giving us more crap.

You saw a 10 minute movie, with about 1 1/2 hours worth of DVD extras/deleted scenes/bloopers etc. edited back in.
