I havent teared up from a tv show in a long time. It was so sweet. I have the same sort of relationship with my husband. I can't talk to him. I actually wish he'd pull a stunt like that. :)
shareThere is an episode of the old show The Munsters where Herman gets a night job to make extra money to buy his wife Lily an anniversary present. At the same time, Lily gets a night job for the same reason. Of course, they both get the same job and work together. But because they are both wearing welding masks during their shifts, they don't know they are working with each other. They start flirting by using just body language, essentially cheating on each other. But of course there is a happy ending even after they figure out they were both carrying on with each other without knowing it. This has nothing to do with catfish. And I haven't seen the Titus/Candic episode yet. i was just reminded of this episode when reading this thread. Carry on.

it made me tear up. i actually loved that episode.
while not a vetran or service member myself, i do know what it is to have ptsd and how hard it is to open up to people. i think some of y'all are judging their actions too harshly without truly being able to understand their motives that drove them to that point.
i think they both screwed up but deep down truly did love each other and wanted each other. i also loved when he called her his mission. it takes a lot to transition from being over there in the thick of it all, to coming back home and living a "normal" life. it's very, very hard and everyone handles it differently. some do not handle it in the best way. while both of them handled it poorly, they showed maturity in wanting to get counciling and acknowledging their issues in order to move on as a united team, still very much in love.
