Draw attention away from CTE. They don't really seem to mind being referred to as Indians as the lion share of there organizations use the term. Also...the antagonists of this film are not really native Americans in the orthodox sense of the word. They are troglodytes which is more like a caveman.

Also, i had the pleasure of a behind the scenes guided tour of the Museum of the American Indian in lower Manhatten (couple hundred yards south of the famous Wall St bull statue-visit if you can!) and the wonderful curator there explained that the NA's really dont mind 'Indian...'
Still, as a white guy i always try to be careful not to offend lol
