I am reminded of the Martin Balsam character (modeled after Louis B. Meyer) informing his nephew that they were a one star studio who's drunken one star is dying in a hospital bed as he is about to sell the studio to George Peppard (modeled after Howard Hughes) in The Carpetbaggers (1964).
