Rami Malek

I couldn’t understand a word he was saying.

reply

"I doof nawt oondahstahd a verd yoof arf sayzing." :-)

I get you, but his character is so ABSOLUTELY non-sensical that it doesn't really matter.

Dude should have just worn a black t-shirt with large capital white letters saying "VILLAIN" for the whole film. That is as much "effort" that the four writers put into him, so just be honest about it.

reply

Yes to this. It was mesmerizing to listen and watch him philosophize but, in the end, I had no clue what his ultimate master plan was beyond killing a lot of people.

reply

Was he the one who played Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody

reply

Yes.

reply

Rami Malek is the ONLY person working on that island that can aim a firearm.

reply

LOL that's a good point

reply

one of the worst villains of the 007 franchise.
i understood that part.

reply

I found it hilarious that he seemed to love Japanese culture for absolutely no reason, his clothes at the end were ridiculous

reply

yeah.. i just didn't get his "character" nor motivation

he kills the mom of Spectre agent but saves daughter.. and forgets husband..? so years later comes back to daughter and wants to kill her BF.. and the other Spectres...... and then wants to also kill the entire world.. to be tidy?

ok.

reply

Right, it made no sense, also so little background for the character, I thought he was just some nut on a vendetta but he has this badass base in an island full of doctors and shit, with…. Japanese clothes.

Oh and when James Bond tries to shoot him but he disappears underground when the floor mechanism moves below. It almost looked like something out of the three stooges.

reply

I haven't seen every Bond movie but is there a more underwritten Bond villain? What a disappointment.

reply

Only one I can think of that was less underwritten is Goldfinger

reply

I actually like Rami, but I thought he was terrible in this.

Why does every single villain nowadays have to talk.....so....slow?

reply

Or with an accent?
