Now it'll come out in April 2020. I'm so fed up with Eon and whoever else is responsible for all of this. No one's going to become/remain a fan of the franchise and look forward to the next movie in the series if they know they won't even see the next movie until they're significantly older. There were only 2 Bond movies for the entirety of the 2010s. Casino Royale was amazing and made me so excited for Daniel Craig as JB going forward but they squandered the opportunity. By his third movie, Bond hadn't met Q or Moneypenny yet and yet he was visibly aging and they made a point about him getting too old for the job.
DC should've ended a 5 movie tenure in 2015. If it was his demand that they wait 4 years until the next movie, they should've fired him and replaced him with someone committed to the series.

At this point I bet they're working on two scripts: One for Craig with an older Bond, and one that introduces a younger, more tech-oriented new actor.

Like Aiden Turner, hint hint.

lol I doubt it. Bond 26 probably won't come out until 2026. I'm starting to think that whoever gets the role after craig may not even have starred in his first movie/TV show yet

At this rate, Knox Jolie-Pitt will be the next Bond!

But yeah, betcha there's a "Young Bond" script floating around Development Hell. If the last Craig film falls through they'll use it, and if the last Craig films makes megabucks they'll rush it into production.

We are looking at almost a 5 year gap between Spectre and Bond 25. Ridiculous. These movie should be released every 3 years.

I'm pretty pissed off about it. Bond is my favorite movie franchise and they've had a impossible time getting these movies made for my entire life. It's total BS. They're still writing the script? Come the hell on.

With you on that. Connery did one pretty much every year, thats impossible today. Moore, Dalton, Brosnan die one every other year, with a few flicks having a 3 year gap. There was a 6 year gap between LTK and GE, but there was legal problems and they changed Bonds. A 5 year gap with no legal problems and no changing of Bond is crazy. There was a 3 year cap from CR to QOS to SF, that is acceptable. 5 YEARS IS CRAZY

They've had problems with the script, I think at least two writers quit due to creative differences and they lost their original director too. For the first time ever an American with direct a Bond film. The good news is they are supposed to start shooting next month!
