Was just watching it. Dime a dozen stuff with very little story. Only the opening scene was good.

shareI’ve think it’s the other way around: substance over style. The movie has a relatively low budget and small cast, and there are a lot of details deliberately left un-seen . The viewer has to fill in the blanks . There are no excessively gory scenes, no nudity, no explosions etc
shareFelt the same about Hereditary. It's all style with no substance. This had a bit more substance though, I liked the crime noir angle.
