Most Nicholas Winding Refn Films are pretty underrated in my opinion except for Drive because that was actually commercially successful.

Basically everything David Cronenberg has ever done.

Anything by David Lynch too.


It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything.

In my opinion the most underrated movies on here (both comedies) are Safe Men and Youth in Revolt. If you like deadpan humor and brilliantly subtle dialog, that is.

Battle: LA, I just can't understand why everyone hated it so much. Of course, there are the numerous horror movies that fall below 7 just cause they're horror movies, personally, I think Insidious 1 deserves a higher rating. It freaked me out so much. Sinister is another one which I think deserves a higher rating. Other movies that I think deserve a 7 or higher are:

A lot of my underrated favorites are horror films. I guess it's probably the most diverse genre, and there's quite a disconnect between the different sub-genres.

I tend to prefer atmospheric horror with a bit of weirdness, but I'm not above enjoying some gore.
