Yep, it's as good as 95 percent of 'found footage' films to date. Only a couple things annoyed me regarding the characters decision making. Other than that, the special effects were quite decent, along with the acting. Also, in a perfect world, only those who can appreciate found footage type films should be voting to give it the rating the fans and the filmmakers deserve. For example, enough whining about the shaky camera already since it is and always will be a part of the found footage genre.

I saw it in theatres here in Canada
Yeah me too. I'm noticing more Canadian films are actually showing up here as well in theatres. This film in particular is being played in 6 decent sized theatres here in Vancouver. It may not last long but it's still nice to see. One of the show-times was even sold out. Oddly enough though, it was only myself and my friend who were watching at ours lol.
