EXTREME gay subtext with Roman.

Why can't they just make at least Roman gay or something? Because they go to these extreme lengths to have all of this crazy gay subtext. Notice Roman's raging mad drive when he yells about Peter banging his cousin, as soon as he yells "F*GGOT!", he arrives at the big dick-shaped building. Then Roman tries to bang a prostitute, decides against it then eats her male pimp while porn is playing of a guy screwing a chick haaard. Then there's all this rage at how Peter about how he abandoned him, their mutual knack for aiming for the same girls (Jules et Jim). It's like insane how thick they lay it on us that Roman is a really angry repressed homosexual but you know they don't have the nerve to actually make him, you know, gay maybe?! It's ridiculous. I'm so sick of Roman tearing his way through all these girls and being a pr*ck, why can't they just have him come out?

Agree 100%. At this point, since they're committing to nothing, it's basically just queer baiting. I can't stand that tactic! I wish they were just open about it as well.

It seems fairly clear he has feelings for Peter, so I don't know why he can't just be open about that, rather than being pissed off and brooding all the time...

I definitely this the subtext is very intentional.

Isn't Gay Vampires and werewolves so "Twilight"? I can see it going either way. There could be repressed romantic feelings between the two or it could simply be a really strong bromance.

Roman comes from a dysfunctional home and is latching onto the only person that might actually understand him and what he is going through. When Peter left Roman was so upset because Peter was the only one he could trust with all of his loss. This is also why he reacted so hatefully when Peter returned.

I see Roman being attracted to women sexually just disinterested with who they are as a person because they can't connect with him on the emotional level he needs. He may hate women because he hates his mom and his life but still see sexual attraction.

The threesome scene felt weird and a little like "Jerry Springer". The fact that she would go back between the two of them then simply suggest they both follow her so she can have both of them didn't feel like a romance or a new relationship starting. It felt she was just trying to manipulate them both.

Although if they did decide to develop a romantic interest between Peter and Roman, I can see it working out if done well. There are plenty of TV male friends that are so close you would suspect it was romantic but they just care about each other in a non sexual way. The show "Scrubs" has this.

A vampire and werewolf. Really? Think about it. The vampire isn't human and is unlikely to have truly human perception on things. Even before he was fully vampire, nothing about him could be called anything resembling typical. People as rich as the kid is portrayed can do anything they like. As for the werewolf, did you not notice how open his gypsy friends and family were about all that? Not to mention that wolves have shown a documented chance of being homosexual, google it. They are animals, after all, and it is not that unusual in the animal kingdom no matter what some people say.

As for me, I don't particularly care. So long as they are consenting adults that don't hurt each other, they can do what they like. It doesn't affect me one bit.
