At 1:28:49, the view of the animal enters the frame from the right, as Reese starts running in the forest away from the potential rapist hunter. The creature is blurred in the background, but it can be seen turning its head with glowing eyes as it looks toward the camera. I'm guessing it's a type of fox or coyote. It's kinda freaky when watching the movie though!

shareHa. I just watched this movie and I could have sworn I saw it, so I kept going back to watch it again and kept not being able to pause at the right second, but finally did and still wasn't 100% sure what it was.
shareWatched last night. Rewound that part 4 times and still could not tell what it was. Looked like a blurry monkey. If it was intended to be the fox, they should have made it clearer like in the rest of the movie.
So apparently this was supposed to be the fox, and people are saying if you don't see a fox we should get our eyes checked -- well it didn't look anything like the fox to me. It totally looked like Bigfoot sitting on a log looking to the camera!
I'm not saying it WAS -- I believe the director if the director's comments say it was the fox. But it DID look like Bigfoot, blurry like it was. I thought it was a joke!
