Don't understand what's with the hateful comments?

This movie was fresh and not over the top si-fi
I hate super space movies. This 1 was simple to understand and enjoyable.
I loved the twists and didn't see some of them coming.

Ex
Army crew being "the Others"

This was good in my opinion.

reply

It was stupid...
it was slow and it was EXTREMELY BORING!

and it had no ending...

it *beep* SUCKED!

No, I am not a Chloe hater... all of her previous movies have been great.

reply

First it's not a fresh story.

Next it has more plot holes than can be tolerated not nitpicky ones either major plot holes.

The acting is sub par across the board.

The pacing is awful the film moves like a snail and feels twice as long as it is.

Character development is almost non existent.

This is simply a poorly made movie.

The people who seem to like it are just fans of the novel series and deluding themselves. They should be insulted this is the movie they got.

reply

Or it's people who've read the book
I know I was pissed when I didn't hear the word 'mayfly' or Ben's backstory. And Evans and Cassie's relationship went way off the book.

Personally (spoiler alert), the thing that mainly upset me was the whole ending. It was like all this build up then *poof* victory!.

One Other does not have access to enough explosives to blow up an army base. He just magically has planted explosives everywhere in the time it took her to basically get to the base. He would have had to steal the explosives from the base, practically impossible to do if they have any assemblance of intelligence (note that he was attacked when some others spotted him in the car because he was not where he should be, no chance could he walk willy nilly around the army base in normal clothes)

The extra team of humans/kids that arrives to save them at the end just magically has a humvee.

Basically i feel robbed of an ending. the whole build up should have been seeing that all happen instead of just "oh btw i planted explosives" and the other team driving up in a humvee despite being a helicopter ride away.

its nit picking beyond this point but timing doesnt make any sense. they shot the team leader so he oculd go back, so they couldnt leave him for long. they were also still in the middle of a city where humans would be shooting at them for the previous attack (may be explained in next film for all we know, like they get the humvee from humans after making a deal or some *beep*

i like Chloe very much but this movie was god awful. one of the worst movies i've seen in a while.

reply

ok i think chloe is hot..but movie is *beep* half on movie i go out from cinema...its movie for kids

reply

Fresh lmao. Falling skies? Stargate? (Symbiots), independence day, V and the list goes on aand on. Basically all sci-fi out there all wrapped into one. This was everything but fresh. Haven't read the books but the author should definately get sued for plagiarism if the books are even remotely close to this flick.

Because im god, are you god to question my answer?

Because the movie sucks, along with the acting, story, and everything else involved with it. It's catered to numb minded adolescents who solely judge a movie by one character, who I can honestly say did a *beep* job at acting. I had good hopes for Chloe until I saw this pile of *beep* Makes me think that she's just another cute face getting roles because of it.

State champ in martial arts, trained with firearms, I eFF'n dare you!
