It's possible Nashville will be turned into a Christian-themed series.

It's clear by the new episode. As a Christian i'm hoping it will be the case. It's about time.

And I really hope it WON'T be the case

I'm a Christian, but I sincerely hope they don't make Nashville a Christian-themed show. If they attempt to cater to the stereotypical Christian demographic, it will change the entire show and many of its storylines. I am a minority within Christian country-music fans in that I am very liberal. I already fear that the move to CMT might bring about the end of Will Lexington. Also, many of the relationships of the show are extra-marital or born from complicated situations (adultery, addiction, etc). Many of the stories that make this show so entertaining would likely change entirely if they try to make it a "Christian" show. I love gospel music, though, and I would love to see more development of Juliet's character and introduce some good gospel music to the mix of songs. But I do NOT want Nashville to become a show centered around religion.

No, it's pretty clear it's just about Juliette trying to find meaning and purpose in her life. It's not uncommon for anyone who has a traumatic near death experience to at least question the idea of a God/Creator, the afterlife, our purpose and meaning on this Earth and the idea of fate or destiny regarding the events that have taken place, and also reflect on our own actions and attitudes.

It's not just 'Christian' to do these things, it's just human.

I don't see why it has to be pushed into being a pro-Christian thing, or even an Anti-Christian thing. Could be related any religion, or ideology really, or none at all. It's simply a human trait to question, search, discover and reflect.

Thanks for the laugh.

Scarlett crawling across tables and Will kissing multiple guys while his boyfriend is at home is totally "Christian".

Not going to happen.
