It's possible Nashville will be turned into a Christian-themed series.
It's clear by the new episode. As a Christian i'm hoping it will be the case. It's about time.

shareRedemption arcs for Juliette and Maddie, and healing for just about everybody, so spiritual and Christian threads woven through wouldn't be out of place.
But I feel pretty confident it's going to remain a music-themed show, not a Christian-themed show. It wouldn't surprise me,though, if Gospel music plays a large part in Juliette's recovery.
I expect this season won't be like the last two, with most of the characters in Shonda-style near-constant misery with very brief respites, and for that I'll be thankful.
The new showrunners are both Jewish so I doubt this is going to turn into a Christian themed series. At least in the way you probably mean
shareBecause they're Jewish means they can't write a Christian-oriented show? I think good writers are capable of anything.
shareI don't want to see a Christian-oriented show. But even though I'm an atheist I don't mind seeing Christian oriented characters on a TV show. Life is diverse and some Christian oriented music has universal appeal (but it has to fit in Nashville's country theme - so less is more). I believe it makes sense if Juliette is discovering faith because especially after the plane crash she really is the character where it somehow fits that she needs something in her life that cannot be fulfilled by her child or Avery.
shareNo it's not "about time". People haven't been watching a Christian themed show for 4 years so going that direction would be a huge mistake. Besides, haven't you people shoved your ridiculous fairytales down people's throats enough?
shareLol AMEN!!!
Those phony gospel preaching hypocrites don't care about spirituality. They are only interested in oppression of inquisitive and questioning minds that surpass their archaic beliefs and myths. Christianity is dying because it's rooted in evil and hate not love and not spirituality. It is devoid of anything relating to God or the Universe.
I'd watch Songs of Praise if I had any interest in religion, so I hope they aren't going down that path. If they do, I'll be an ex-viewer.
A Christian theme would mean instant death for this show. Sorry dude, go watch TBN.
shareOh god... please NO!!!
