Should make the new Punisher movie like this one

Violent, gritty, honest, Death Wish-like, but true to the comics characters and situations (at least as true as possible). IMO, it is the best Punisher cinema interpretation to this day, although Lundgren's is kind of guilty pleasure so to say.

No I would rather see a standalone punisher max movie or short series from BORN to homeless ( meaning the graphic novel names).

Agreed. This short was a pleasant surprise, and Thomas Jane clearly has a lot of respect for the character. Hopefully we'll get a truly great Punisher film along these lines sooner rather than later.
