This movies makes me hate White kids and their privilege...

The punk *** kids depicted in the movie are garbage. Their whole entire way of describing what they did to the old man , as a "project" rather than a damn crime, just highlights the delusional mindset and entitled privilege mentality that I hate about white people. How on earth, did they have any right at all to snoop into this mans home and concern themselves with what was going on in a strangers house?

They are sociopaths and I am supposed watch this movie and think they are revolutionary geniuses because they are petty criminals? If these losers were Black kids, every one of their actions would be considered deviant, nothing artistic or intelligent about it.

The worse part of it all is, a decent, law abiding, harmless, innocent human being was unknowingly put under a microscope. They dehumanized him , verbally describing him as a psycho , among other things. Wanting to pin crimes on him. All because he is an older guy living alone?!!! I guess when you're a ugly little white boy , with nothing else going for you other than you whiteness and your youth, then you cant see that maybe just maybe, you are probably the real PSYCHO. You weird, stalker degenerate a** hole.

The ringing bell was the form of communicating, between him and his wife, from her death bed and when he was woken to that sound, in a dark house alone again, no wife, no love or comfort.He was reminded once again that he had nothing. He killed himself , because of the sound of that bell...the reminder. No remorse for the role they played.

To add insult to injury? Sentence the sociopaths to probation. I understand the rule of law is limited right now.Theres little actual compassion or thinking that is apart of the justice system. But these "children" did something REALLY wrong.

When you start allowing your self to make excuses for why you do bad things to people, then you are taking away a part of what makes them human. All of the *beep* they did, under the pretense that this guy deserved it. They are the sickos.They are the psycho sociopathic freaks , but its okay because their only little white boys.

His point was that black people seem to be the go-to group when racism is talked about in certain contexts. For example, when one wants to show how racist something is, they tend to talk about how it would look if it was done to a black person. Or how if one wants to prove that they're not racist, they tend to say that they have a black friend. Black people tend to be used as examples in such talks about racism, as if blacks are the only minorities. That was his point. But you responded with "So white people never get accused of being racist towards black people?", as if he said or implied any such thing. He didn't. Which means you were responding to a straw man. Which makes your response a non sequitur. It shows either bad reasoning on your part or a failure to comprehend a simple point. Either display tends to come from stupid people. Get it now? Or do you wanna keep spewing irrelevant stuff?

Just because its a movie doesnt mean it cant piss someone off. The tone of the movie seemed to support the idea that these kids were the next Einstein , just because they were able to install cameras into somebodys house and stalk them.

just because someone is white doesn't mean they will get away with everything. this is how I see this whole privilege thing.. Its rich privilege not white privilege.. but also at the same I do understand it I mean black people are treated differently than white people in a lot of situations. I've seen it myself. Like I grew up in a big diverse city and had friends of all races and I've seen stuff for instance like shop owners following around my black friends in stores but when i was in the store alone they wouldn't follow me around. And none of my friends were ghetto thug looking dudes or anything.

Well, that's 2. Can you keep going? There are some black people who get off, but white privilege has been going on since the inception of America. It seriously exist. But I do believe rich privilege is far more of an issue than white privilege. IMO, this movie was rich privilege.

I feel like America backfired. I am Italian when we first came here, as a people, we were hated. Then we opened some great pizza joints and restaurants and people warmed up to us.

Then there were the Irish that were considered trashy potato pickers but they like booze and great bars arrived.

YES, the black people had it the worst because of Slavery and Segregation. That is a definite and the southern white people can only blame themselves. It is appalling.

So why the hell stay here if it sucks so much? Why not move to a predominantly black country and be treated with respect? What is so damn great about coming here? First off it's not even that nice to look at. The history is too young. The architecture is minuscule. You have to search for beauty. I love NYC and San Francisco etc but there isn't enough of it. It's too expensive. Mountains here and there that are nice but again no enough.

Lastly, I would love to move to Italy. If I had the money and the time I would go. I certainly wouldn't stay here if I was treated poorly.

Why stay? It's not like the 1800's where it wasn't easy to hop on a plane and move.

Perhaps most black people enjoy it here for the most part and hope that this country keeps changing for the better for them. Should they not keep trying to change it for the better?

I am Italian too and I agree that Italians and Irish also had periods of times when we were treated as subhuman pieces of *beep* I think the difference is that we can blend in with "other" white people and blacks can't.
