Very trippy movie with great visuals and ideas but what a terrible movie.
shareAt least John Carter had actors that looked the right age for the parts... This was so miscast it was almost funny. And who thought the girl could act? My god even my daughter was laughing at the way she would walk as if she was a runway model. What a joke.
Sad thing is the first 5 minutes was decent, then they spent too much time with the skinny bald aliens... But once the two main stars got going you were just hoping the boring bald aliens would show up again because the two leads were beyond bad.
John Carter was a good movie. It was just ruined by bad marketing. With better marketing it could have become a blockbuster.
This movie on the other hand has Carla Delavigne in it, and Carla Delavigne is the worst actress in the history of Hollywood. She is fucking terrible in every way, and does not deserve a career.

Hmmm. Well, I didn't realize the actress was British until after I went home and googled her, so her American accent was at least well done. I liked her performance but she does have a bit of a "resting bitch face" look.
I think it was more of a problem how the two leads were written.
