Misandry: The acceptable sexism of society!

The Other Woman and other films like this prove that sexism is acceptable just as long as the sexism is directed towards men!

You see it everywhere from TV shows, commercials, music and films.
Men are either portrayed as the bad guys and women are always the innocent victims of men thus creating a narrative like The Other Woman where its cool and trendy for a woman to seek revenge on a man in the worst ways possible.

If the man isn't portrayed as the bad guy, he is portrayed as the buffoon while the women are always the wise know it all that set men back on the right track.

Feminists always complain about the negative portrayal of women in the media but they don't care about how men are portrayed.

For example its empowering if a woman hits a man but its abhorrent if a man hits a woman, even if he hits said woman back.

It is seen as funny if a woman kicks a man in his genitals but no one would laugh if a man kicked a woman in the vagina.

The videos below are perfect examples of the double standards that I am talking about:

A lot of men have had enough of these double standards and this is why Mens Rights groups are growing around the world.

It also is one of the reasons why a lot of men are choosing to avoid relationships (MGTOW) with toxic women that find these double standards okay.

Its about time that the feminists and the media in general showed some consistency and fairness when it comes to stamping out ALL sexism!

So much is wrong with this thread that I don't know where to begin.

As a male who is also slightly chauvinistic and sexist, I have to disagree with the OP.

At the end of the it is sexism and misogyny that is still prevalent and also passed off by too many as acceptable.

It's that man again!!

Also, are big arguments and flame wars like an acceptable form of hatred in today's society, especially in this globally digital age?

Why can't we humans just live in harmony with each other?

Can women be as evil as men by the way? Apart from Elizabeth Bathory...

If men were generally LESS evil in humanity numbers wise and also maybe exhibit same or similar features to women, would this type of misandry be seen as just officially unacceptable and for justifiable reasons to boot?

Oh boo fcking hoo.

Frankly as a woman I don't give a damn.

Misogyny has been going on for millenia, it's hardly surprising that the tables have turned.

I honestly don't give a flying sh!t if men are now victimized. I truly don't.

Victimized by being mean? LMAO? Making men look like clowns in a movie? Yeah like that's never happened to women.

Violence against men? I DON'T CARE. They've done it to us and still do it.

MEN have created the violent world we ALL live in EVERY DAY.

99% of ANYTHING violent that happens in this world -- MEN perpetrated it.

It's not that there aren't female serial killers or female violence perpetrators. There are. But their percentage is MINISCULE compared to the havoc men wreak in this world on both a small and large scale.

Yeah like there isn't a balance to be redressed. Seriously fck off. It's about fcking time men were made to feel as belittled, ridiculed, endangered and targeted as women have been made to feel for hundreds and thousands of years just by dint of mens' greater ability to threaten in every way.

Sad but true - if only God didn't give men that much power and physical advantage, how the world would've turned out.

Actually, some people DO care about violence towards men even if indeed a lot more about violence towards women, and the point of the matter is, violence towards anyone is wrong.

Maybe there are indeed TOO many uncivilized people and mostly men who do NOT see it that way, or maybe it is more complex than all of that but in the end no one should end up suffering.

And sometimes, turning the tables like that on the entire gender isn't going to solve anything in the long run.

Another thing that is kinda missing from this thread - OK, misogyny, misandry, sexism etc etc etc.

What about looking at certain things from a simple heroes and villains, good guys versus bad guys, good versus evil etc, aspect?

Or is it true that even young people without the greatest of IQs (and no offense to them either) know that our world overall is NOT that simple in binary terms, hence why in real life, we have those other nuances, complexities, issues, movements, etc etc etc, and more than that, besides not TROUBLING anyone in particular, it doesn't even BOTHER them so much either, right?

Hence why I haven't come across such a discussion either?

And on the other hand - what about people who speak of bad deeds or bad people in ways that are incredibly ANGRY, with swear words and whatnot, and ideas of punishable karma-like consequences on every corner, or even go "Eww, look at how sick it all is etc", even if OF COURSE, the OPPOSITE approaches are the real trouble, and the talk of present danger is persistent and rightly so.
