What do YOU mean?

reply

I meant that I don't know what you mean :D

reply

I mean... you mean you don't know what I mean?

Those 2 movies are already part of massive franchises.

"Barbie" was okay until the last third, when the audience was beaten over the head by a grim speech about how horrible it is to be a woman, and men all suck. Pure woke bullshit.

reply

agreed

reply

Pretty sure Joy is LGBT, she’s got short blue hair. And Riley is definitely not straight and neither was the older hockey girl who was obviously flirting the whole movie. The entire hockey team was inclusive, with one of every race. Muslim girls playing hockey with headwear on??? Oh yeah, that’s not woke.

reply

So? The film isn't about It. And Riley liked boys, didn't you see her Mountain Crushmore?

reply

wait... so it's still okay to like the opposite sex?? seems so criminal now :D

reply

She's bisexual it seems. Which is what the "B" in LGBT stands for. And that's woke.

reply

In your imagination, maybe. As far as we know She likes boys, if she was bisexual there would be a girl in her Mountain Crushmore, so you are wrong.

reply

Nah feel free to miss whatever obvious cues may be there. Still, even the creators of the movie have hinted that she potentially could be bisexual, with hints including mixed gender emotions. In contrast, her mom and dad only have emotions for their specific genders. She was flirting with the older hockey girl in every scene. Bisexual people can have both male and female crushes. That's quite literally what "bi" means...two.

reply

Her two Friends also had mixed emotions, were they bi too?

reply

wait... you talking about the title character? is bi SEXUAL?? SEXUAL?? This young child in a disney cartoon movie is bi SEXUAL???? Why is SEXUAL mentioned, needed, even remotely suggested at all??????

Does this girl have sexual activitiy in this movie? Banging both girls and boys? What the fuck

why does SEXUAL anything belong in a disney cartoon about a KID?? what the fuck!

reply

quit acting like you're so blown away and/or shocked. you remember when you were in high school? you probably had sexual feelings too. the film is all about FUCKING FEELINGS. You dope.

And what's really funny, and telling, that I never once brought up the character having sex. Having a crush and "banging", as you so elegantly put it, are two very different things. But that's how you interpreted it because that's clearly more on your mind. Get help, sicko.

reply

do you know what the term SEX means?

you havent explained why biSEXUAL needs to be in this movie

a kids movie. from disney. a cartoon.

reply

she was/is gay....... they were told to tone it down.

"..getting continuous notes to make Inside Out 2's lead character, Riley, come across as less gay"

https://movieweb.com/pixar-inside-out-2-changes-lightyear-kiss-controversy/

reply

Absolutely nothing in the movie implies She is gay, and doesn't matter unless you are obsessed with the sexuality of the characters.

It doesn't Matter what the creators tried to do, movies are independent art objects with meaning for themselves.

reply

but they wanted her to be gayer........ and then was forced to tone it down, see.

reply

Her Mount Crushmore was formed of boys, not Girls.

reply

99% of movies the right complain about being too woke are not about wokeness either. Most of them just seem mad about “over representation”.

reply

well, they all flop.
so maybe don't fuck over the people that actually have money.

reply

I also wondered about the Muslim girl playing hockey in religious headwear, but I found images online proving that's a thing.

reply

I'm sure it is but cmon, the right cant suddenly say this movie ISN'T woke when Pixar made an obvious effort to include one person of every race on the hockey team. Inlcuding a fat girl with blue freakin hair? All that's missing is a girl in a wheelchair. I really just don't think the right know what "woke" even means. This movie sits higher than Turning Red on the "woke" scale but Turning Red was flamed for being extremely woke. WTF?

reply

I see nothing wrong with inclusivity in depicting the present day San Francisco Bay area, population nearly 8 million, where all these people could conceivably live. My definition of woke would be placing them in the distant past or as being typical in small town rural America.

I couldn't watch the woke The Little Mermaid. Everyone KNOWS what Ariel looks like, besides the way they trashed the animated characters. Also from everything I have heard the movie was no good anyway. And now there is a cartoon about Disney's The Little Mermaid depicting her with dark brown skin and pink hair! JUST NO!

I couldn't watch the woke Peter Pan. Everyone has a pretty good idea what Peter Pan looks like (although admittedly J. M. Barrie did not describe him in the book so every boy could imagine himself in the role, which I guess includes Hispanic boys as well, by a bit of a stretch). But seriously, everyone KNOWS what Disney Tinker Bell freaking looks like! She literally came out at the beginning of every episode of the Disney show and waved her wand, including on home media! She has also been a greetable character at Disney parks! EVERYONE who isn't living in a religious cult with no electricity or severely vision impaired KNOWS she is white with blonde hair! And isn't this also the movie where some of the Lost Boys were girls? Anyone vaguely familiar with the story knows how wrong that is. JUST NO!

I couldn't watch the woke A Wrinkle in Time. Meg Murry is the biological child of a redheaded mother and a caucasian father. She is not adopted and black. JUST NO.

If they go ahead with this woke Snow White, casting an actress who is not only Hispanic but hates the original film and will do everything in her power to trash it, and casting six out of seven normal sized people as the dwarfs, depriving little people actors of the roles, I will not only boycott, but avoid it a thousand times if I could! JUST NO!

reply

Agreed w/everything,WRINKLE IN TIME included.

reply

😂

reply

I agree and I hope they see this.

Ditto,bud.
