How do you think they will woke this up?
Maybe a like where a black girl tells Riley she shouldn’t feel sad because she has white privilege

shareIt doesn’t have that kind of obvious provocative wokeness. It stars a blue-eyed blond girl without self-confidence, insecure, sometimes ashamed of herself and rather creepy. Another woke element is that Embarrassment is represented by a fat big-nosed white boy.
shareEmbarrassment was pink, and a dark pink at that!
shareWhere was Embarrassment in the first film? Young children get embarassed too.
shareHopefully they show her romanticizing being with the other female with the dark hair and pink streaks
shareInclusion was present with giving Riley an asian and a black friend for representation.
shareYeah, but they don't make a huge deal out of it. It is presented without comment or snide remarks.
And the movie is set in the USA, San Francisco bay area to be precise. So this isn't out of the ordinary.
It stood out to me because this board put it into my head but it's probably just the studio trying to reach their quotas.
shareI saw it today, and you can relax: woke-free!
