I don't like "slow" shows because it's a sign the writer has nothing to write about and stretched the thing out with the lie they are trying to create atmosphere.
The plot is interesting enough. But if by "plot" you mean action ... you will not get it.
Got to season 2 and I kinda start to not like it that much, Too much drama ...
Looks like the ratting on RT drops as well from season to season.
For me atmosphere and character development (usually slow movies offer more of the sorts) are more important than a heavy plot, or rather are part of the plot.
I dislike shows where it's a concept with some "mystery" that goes nowhere like Lost, X-Files, From, and so forth.
The term "Soap Opera" comes from the description of a show with fake drama and an endless story that is designed to sell commercials to viewers waiting for something to happen. I dislike that kind of show very much.
However, I like the witty dialogue in X-Files but ultimately disliked the show because of the build up to an amazing story that never happened.
I was just curious about this show because I like the general idea but the description sounded vague.
