This show always has underwhelming finales

I mean the last episode this season was good, i did enjoy it, but as per usual it just didn't feel like a season finale, no big events happened at all really. There was never any suspense or big moments. And nothing happened with Oleg, all season it was building up to something going down with him and in the finale we get nothing.

I mean yeah they're saving stuff for next season but they could have done something in this final episode to give it a big final episode of the season feeling.

Everytime a season ends its always an ending like "See how these storylines finish next season!" we never get any conclusion to a storyline in a season finale, all of them are always left unfinished leading into next season.

But that's the thing, real life doesn't do cliffhangers. We're left with the two of them unsure what to do next. They want to quit and stay loyal, but they don't want to leave their lives.

We have Liz, who's always been seen as a cold and hardcore patriot, looking around the home she's been building for 20 years, realizing she has to leave it.
We have Phil, who's always been seen as the possible defector, wanting to get rid of the recording that would keep them in the States.
We have Paige, who, after nearly losing it in the previous season, is now becoming tough as nails.
And, of course, the oblivious Henry with a bright, mainstream future ahead of him.

If this TV series was anything like real life, let's just say that you'd stop watching it after a few episodes. Even reality TV is scripted, cause 'real life' is way too boring for TV.

I stopped watching this after one or 2 seasons - it was slow and boring - and there weren't enough of mind-games here, especially given the subject matter. Basically, the writing in this TV show sucks - though I did like the leads. I'm surprised you peeps are still watching it.

I was sure Paige would be forced to kill someone in this episode. The early episodes seem to be stronger than finales. Wasn't it the beginning of last season when they stuffed a body in a suitcase? And this season they killed that guy who was contaminated, and stuffed him in the coffin.

They weren't strong, just more aggressive. That's the formula of the show - the early episodes show them deal with a difficult situation and the latter show the moral debate that situation has lead them to.
