Nothing more than torture porn with a lousy soundtrack. I love horror movies, slashers, thrillers, etc. This was absolute garbage. Avoid at all costs. Not even worth a download.

Thought it's a bit like POV porn for slashers really. Made me feel quite ill, but I guess that was the whole point.

People who watch a movie called Maniac, about a whacko who scalps women, then complain about the violence on display are mentally impaired.

It's like listening to a band called Slayer and complaining that the material is too dark and aggressive.
