I remember when the first lot of Marvel films came out and I would rate the ones I'd seen on imdb. I invariably gave them all five or six out of ten. None were really brilliant and none were really that bad.
I think for the people still watching them, that's probably good enough - they're just consuming them like the next episode of a TV show or something so don't really have any high expectations anyway. They'll just keep munching away on them regardless...

sharei believe what happened with Marvel, as far as the financial success, is that their core audience members are now in their 30's and 40's and have families and other pressures that occupy their time and finances and they now wait for streaming.

If it's a comedy it will seem like a ripoff of Suicide Squad. If it's a well made adventure it could be successful.
