Did anyone cry when watching this film?

If you cried when watching this film, what sequences made you cry?

reply

I cried several times. Didn't expect to at all. I was watching the movie on my computer in the living room in my parents house and I was a bit embarrassed about crying, afraid one of them would ask me what I was watching :D
What made me cry the most was the imaginary friend dying.

There is no such thing as too much time

How on earth were you able to watch the movie on your computer?? The DVD isn't out until NOVEMBER 3rd! And it won't be available on Amazon Prime until OCTOBER 13th!! Enlighten me!

reply

I stole it!
But since I liked it I went to the cinema and saw it later. And I brought two friends with me because I knew the movie was good.
In Sweden cinema tickets are about 120 kr (15 USD) so one does not see a movie without being pretty sure one will like it.

You think that's bad? I watched this movie on a packed international flight.

"Oh, what is this 'Inside Out' movie they have available? Looks cute and funny; let's watch!"

I've seen this movie a few times now and must admit that this was a very emotional film. Lots of great moments, but it always gets to me when Sadness walks up to the console, removes the "running away idea" from Riley's head, and we see Riley's reaction as everything starts to come back to her. Then, when she jumps off the bus, runs home, and has that emotional scene with her parents...it's just beautiful how they show that Riley really needed to just break down before she could be happy again. A lot of people in the theater were in tears at this point...as well as the previous scene when Bing Bong sacrificed himself so Joy could go back and save Riley.

I cried when the family island crumbled. It touched me so much how her parents reacted to her sadness.

the disappearance of Bing Bong is a really heartbreaking scene. Thank you for an excellent movie, Pixar

I don't think anyone who has children of their own can watch this without becoming very emotional. I know I did...
