Nicole Kidman kill this. Comparing actresses is pretty pointless. Nicole has already demonstrated greatness, and in this film she is perfect.

shareKidman is the better actor of the two, IMO. But it doesn't matter much. It's not an important role. I guess she took it 'cause it was Colin Firth.
shareI unfortunately failed to notice that Nicole Kidman was in the cast before renting this film On Demand. She's always been the proverbial wet blanket in any film I've seen her in in the past. I wouldn't have ordered it had I noticed she was in it. Luckily, I was able to fast-forward through all the Nicole parts.
