All they want are happy endings, life isn't always like that, we need this in life and learn to live with it to be better.

Your message is proof that you know NOTHING at all about Americans.
Your message is also proof that you are pathetic and full of hate toward Americans.

Sounds like somebody got out of the wrong side of the pond this morning!

1, logically, anybody who can employ the proper noun "Americans" must know *something* about Americans.
2, his/her comments don't prove anything other than he/she has an opinion you don't agree with.

My view? This film is an pretty crappy ripoff of Ring (see how I subtly changed the subject there?)

...it's just another dumb film, get over it.

I was quite shocked by the ending it's certainly not a very American one. I can't believe those craaaaazy foreigners all got their way!

The route the OP is taking is an easy one to do— same thing as "oh, all Americans are stupid and eat McDonald's." I don't dislike this movie because it had a downbeat ending; in fact, that may be the only GOOD thing about it. I hate this movie because everything else about it ******* awful.
