Father Tedesco did nothing wrong

Prove me wrong

reply

He led a reactionary faction. He didn't commit any crimes or misdemeanors. He did come out with a racist insult, which was a bit unseemly for a Man O' God, though. I would call that 'wrong'. Wouldn't you ?

reply

What was the insult?

Did you see the film ?

reply

I saw the film but do not recall the insult.
I cannot watch that video, it is blocked due to copyright.

You either missed it or are generally oblivious. You ask the question and then refuse the answer. Good luck in all your future endeavors.

reply

I saw the movie a few days ago. I do not recall many things already from that movie, like I don't remember many things from many other movies.

To a simple question "what was the insult?", you decided to be aggressive, rude, sarcastic and project the personality of a random stranger online without any real reason for that, when you could have just said "the racist insult was in the scene X where he said something like Y".

Sad to be you, really, but each one has to deal with what they have. You have that sad personality, so do the best you can with it.

reply

He won't answer you, because he knows he's wrong.

Tedesco was speaking to Fiennes character (Lawrence) in the dining hall. Tedesco says to Lawrence to look around the room and see the seated cardinals divided by language. Tedesco is a reactionary who wants the pope to remain Roman and even bring back Latin. He points to the table of African cardinals and ask Fiennes - is that who you want? Even though Lawrence is not Italian; he is white. The deceased Pope, Tucci, Fiennes want to see the church go in another direction and not Tedesco’s vision or lack of a vision. Great actor btw. Sergio Castellitto as Tedesco. Just one of the best movies. I will see this one again. Tedesco represents his own belief and it’s probably shared by many. He doesn’t do anything wrong. He just thinks in a box. Tremblay is the guy who does something wrong.

Well put.

No, but it sounded like his papacy would have taken things back to the days of Julius II. Pope in armor carrying a sword leading troops into battle. Is that what people want in a pope in 21st century?! Julius III?

reply

Meh, better than them sitting back and telling others what to do.

@Stratego - another asinine post from you - one of TEN consecutive posts you’ve written on this same movie board, one after the other, all time stamped six hours ago. Talk about obsessed! Jesus - get some help.

More of the same unhinged ramblings, from a loser who has no life - who's posted 20 comments in the past 24 hours alone. Do you even realized how pathetic that is? I know you'll feel compelled to respond, but no need to waste your time. I won't see it. You're ignored.
